Mr. W.C.Hake was a cadet on the "Conway" from September 1902 till August 1904. He showed marked ability in his studies, holding his own with much older boys. Of a cheerful and happy disposition, with a particularly pleasant manner, he was deservedly popular with Officers, Masters, and Cadets alike, and no boy who has passed through the "Conway" in recent years is more deserving of success or more likely to achieve it.

Commander "Conway".
